MY NAME IS
KHAN
My name in Khan is indeed a very
good movie. The writer had produced a very good plot of the story based from
real life situation. The actors and the actresses also have portrayed well their
different roles. Most importantly the whole staff had a good idea in which they
have contributed for the success of the movie.
The whole story really touched
the audience’s heart and I’m sure this will made us realized the value of
religion in our lives which has a great impact to our whole being. The concept
of the story is very practical in which it is being observed in every society
now. This made the story became beautiful and meaningful.
The whole story emphasizes of
how a person having Asperger’s Syndrome, (a form of high-functioning autism
that complicates socialization) changed the concept and perspective of the
people around him who have negative thoughts about his religion as well as to
himself. Rizvan Khan, the main character of the story walked to his journey
holding the principles which his mother had taught to him, “There are two
people in this world, good and bad. Good people are those who are doing good
deeds and bad people are those who are doing bad deeds”. This principle was his
armor as he faced bigger challenges that life offers him.
This story is an inspiring one
because of how Khan had the courage and the faith to make a difference in the
society where he belongs inspite of his syndrome. He never thinks that this
will hinder him to prove to everyone even to the president of the United States
the he’s not a terrorist and Muslims deserve to be respected to be loved also
despite of having different culture and traditons.
About the issue of different
religion, I can say that there was a great discrimination among the Muslims
which is not reasonable. We have only one God and they are not worthy to be
treated in that way for we are living in this world fairly, having the right to
be happy and to be valued like other people feel. For me, this kind of
condition must be change. Because of this, there will be a gap between the
relationship of Christians and Muslims which is not good. This will affect our
lives especially to the youth of today’s generation. This will poison their minds
which can cause great chaotic situation.
I acknowledge Khan of what he
did; his principles in life, his love to his family and to his religion were
his inspiration to won the battle.
As a whole, I say that love is
the foundation of everything. This will make things possible and it is one of
the important sources of our strengths and faith.
